Welcome to fbrosfioc.com. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the rental of audio and video equipment and related services provided by fbrosfioc Audio & Video Equipment Rental ("fbrosfioc", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use our services.
1. Definitions
- "Client" or "You": The person or entity renting equipment or services
- "Equipment": All audio, video, lighting, and related technical equipment available for rental
- "Rental Period": The agreed duration for which Equipment is rented
- "Services": Equipment rental, podcast studio sessions, filming services, and related services
- "Booking": A confirmed reservation for Equipment or Services
- "Deposit": Security payment required before Equipment collection
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website, making a booking, or renting Equipment, you:
- Confirm you are at least 18 years of age
- Have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts
- Agree to comply with all Terms and Conditions
- Accept responsibility for all uses of Equipment under your rental
- Agree to our Privacy Policy
3. Booking and Reservations
3.1 How to Book
Bookings can be made through:

3.2 Booking Confirmation
A booking is confirmed when:
- You receive written confirmation from us (email or SMS)
- Required deposit/payment has been received
- All booking details have been agreed in writing
3.3 Booking Information
You must provide accurate information including:
- Full name and contact details
- Valid identification (driver's license or passport)
- Delivery/collection address
- Rental dates and times
- Equipment specifications and quantities
3.4 Equipment Availability
All bookings are subject to Equipment availability. We reserve the right to:
- Refuse bookings if Equipment is unavailable
- Offer suitable alternatives of equal or greater value
- Cancel bookings due to Equipment malfunction (with full refund)
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
- All prices are displayed in GBP (£)
- Prices include VAT unless otherwise stated
- Rental rates are calculated per day/hour as specified
- Prices are subject to change without notice
- Confirmed bookings honor the agreed price

4.3 Accepted Payment Methods
- Credit/Debit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex)
- Bank Transfer (BACS)
- PayPal
- Cash (in-person only, for amounts under £500)
- Business accounts (upon credit approval)
4.4 Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required:
- Amount varies based on Equipment value (typically £200-£1,000)
- Held to cover potential damage, loss, or late return
- Refunded within 5-7 business days after Equipment return
- Subject to Equipment inspection and condition verification
4.5 Late Payment
Late payments may result in:
- Late fees of £25 per day after due date
- Suspension of rental privileges
- Legal action to recover outstanding amounts
- Interest charges at 8% above Bank of England base rate
5. Rental Period and Returns
5.1 Rental Duration
- Minimum rental period: 1 day (24 hours) unless otherwise agreed
- Daily rentals: 9:00 AM to 9:00 AM next day
- Hourly studio sessions: As booked, with 1-hour minimum
- Weekend rates: Friday 5:00 PM to Monday 9:00 AM
5.2 Collection and Delivery
Collection:
- Equipment must be collected during business hours unless pre-arranged
- Valid photo ID required at collection
- Equipment condition will be documented
- You must sign a rental agreement and equipment checklist
Delivery:
- Available for orders over £300 (fees apply)
- Delivery fees calculated based on distance
- Someone must be present to receive Equipment
- Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
5.3 Returns
- Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed return date/time
- Late returns incur additional daily rental charges
- Equipment must be returned clean and in original condition
- All accessories, cables, and cases must be returned
- Returns inspected for damage before deposit refund
5.4 Late Returns
Late return charges:
- Up to 2 hours late: No charge (courtesy period)
- 2-6 hours late: 50% of daily rate
- Over 6 hours late: Full additional day charge
- Each subsequent day: Full daily rate
6. Client Responsibilities
As the Client, you agree to:
- Use Equipment Properly: Only for intended purposes, following all instructions
- Take Care: Exercise reasonable care to prevent damage, loss, or theft
- No Modifications: Not alter, repair, or modify Equipment without written permission
- Supervision: Not leave Equipment unattended in public or unsecured locations
- Authorized Users Only: Not sublease or allow unauthorized persons to use Equipment
- Insurance: Maintain adequate insurance or accept liability for full replacement cost
- Report Issues: Immediately notify us of any malfunction, damage, or loss
- Compliance: Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Return Condition: Return Equipment clean, complete, and in good working order
Important: You are responsible for Equipment from collection until return and acceptance by us. This includes all risk of loss, theft, or damage regardless of cause.
7. Equipment Condition and Maintenance
7.1 Equipment Condition
- All Equipment is tested and maintained to professional standards
- Equipment is provided in good working condition
- Minor cosmetic wear is normal for rental equipment
- You must inspect Equipment at collection and report any issues immediately
7.2 Malfunctions During Rental
If Equipment malfunctions during rental:
- Contact us immediately at +44 7194 817189
- Do not attempt repairs yourself
- We will provide replacement Equipment or pro-rata refund
- No liability for consequential losses or project delays
7.3 Cleaning
- Equipment should be returned reasonably clean
- Excessive dirt or cleaning required: £50 cleaning fee
- Studio spaces must be left tidy and free of rubbish
8. Damage, Loss, and Liability
8.1 Client Liability
You are liable for:
- Full replacement cost for lost or stolen Equipment
- Repair costs for damaged Equipment
- Loss of rental income during repair/replacement period
- Any consequential costs arising from damage or loss

8.3 Insurance
We strongly recommend that Clients:
- Maintain their own equipment insurance
- Verify coverage includes rented equipment
- Optional damage waiver available for additional fee (contact us for details)
8.4 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
- Our total liability is limited to the rental fee paid
- We are not liable for project delays, lost profits, or business interruption
- We are not liable for personal injury except as caused by our negligence
- Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence
9. Cancellation and Refund Policy

10. Studio Services
10.1 Podcast Studio Sessions
- Booked by the hour with 2-hour minimum
- Includes studio space, microphones, recording equipment, and monitoring
- Technical operator available for additional fee
- Late arrival reduces available session time (no refund)
- Sessions may not exceed booked time without prior arrangement
10.2 Filming Services
- Quotes provided based on project requirements
- 50% deposit required to secure booking
- Includes agreed crew, equipment, and hours
- Additional hours charged at agreed hourly rate
- Travel costs may apply for locations outside local area
10.3 Studio Rules
When using our studio facilities:
- Maximum occupancy limits must be respected
- No smoking or vaping on premises
- Food and drink only in designated areas
- Respect noise levels to avoid disturbing neighbors
- Leave space clean and tidy
- Report any damage immediately
11. Intellectual Property
11.1 Content Created
- You retain all rights to content created using our Equipment/studios
- You grant us permission to use brief excerpts for promotional purposes (unless otherwise agreed in writing)
- We may request to feature your work in our portfolio
11.2 Our Intellectual Property
- All content on fbrosfioc.com is our property or licensed to us
- You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivatives without permission
- Our logo, branding, and trademarks are protected
12. Privacy and Data Protection

13. Prohibited Uses
You may not use our Equipment or Services for:
- Any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Creating content that violates laws or third-party rights
- Harassment, hate speech, or discriminatory content
- Pornographic or adult content (without prior written agreement)
- Activities that may damage our reputation
- Dangerous activities that risk personal injury or equipment damage
- Subleasing or commercial re-rental without permission
Important: We reserve the right to immediately terminate rental and refuse future services if prohibited uses are discovered, without refund.
14. Force Majeure
We are not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters (floods, storms, earthquakes)
- Pandemics or public health emergencies
- War, terrorism, or civil unrest
- Government actions or restrictions
- Power failures or telecommunications breakdowns
- Supplier failures
In such cases, we will offer rescheduling or full refund.
15. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse service if:
- You breach these Terms and Conditions
- Payment is not received as agreed
- You provide false or misleading information
- Equipment is used improperly or for prohibited purposes
- You behave abusively toward our staff
Termination does not relieve you of payment obligations or liability for damage/loss.

16.1 Informal Resolution

- We aim to resolve all disputes amicably and promptly
16.2 Mediation
If informal resolution fails, we agree to attempt mediation before legal action.
16.3 Legal Jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
- Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts
- For consumer contracts, you retain statutory rights
17. Amendments
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Changes will be:
- Posted on this page with updated "Last Updated" date
- Notified to existing clients via email for material changes
- Effective immediately upon posting for new bookings
- Existing bookings remain subject to Terms in effect at booking time
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
19. Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.
20. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and fbrosfioc regarding use of our services.
